Last day of poem week! Today is the title and poet of the sweet poem. I can remember first hearing this poem on a cd of poems my father gave me for Christmas in my early 20′s. The cd features all of the poets reading their own poems, and it was (and is) one of my favorite cds to listen to when I’m needing a dose of beauty. I later studied the poem in a university poetry class and just have been smitten with it ever since.
So much depends upon a red wheel barrow glazed with rain water beside the white chickens
This week I’m featuring a line from a certain favorite poem each day until Friday! So by the end of the week, you will have read the full (and very short) poem. I’ll reveal the title and poet on Friday (although some of you are probably familiar with it). To poetry!!
